ITE Southwestern Ontario Section

The Southwestern Ontario Section holds approximately 4 technical meetings per year at different locations in Southwestern Ontario. The meetings usually feature technical presentations and a meal. Students, members and friends generally attend and enjoy networking and learning. Registration for the meetings is charged on a cost recovery basis.

Interesting Trivia

The Southwestern Ontario Section hosted the CITE Annual Conference in 1994 in Windsor and in 2014 at the Region of Waterloo.

In 2009, the section joined the Toronto and Hamilton Sections to co-host the Annual Student Presentation Competition and job fair.

In 2009, the University of Waterloo Student Chapter was awarded the Student Activities Award at the CITE Annual Conference.
