SUMMARY:ITE Saskatchewan Section: Fall Session and AGM
DESCRIPTION:Join ITE Saskatchewan on October 18 at 10am for our Fall Session & AGM. \nThis session will include networking\, a workshop activity\, and presentations on a variety of topics such as: \n\n14th Street Neighbourhood Bikeway – this project was initiated to help identify measures to provide more travel choices and improve safety\, accessibility and connectivity. The project included the evaluation and design of walking and cycling facility improvements and two rounds of public engagement. This presentation covers the study process and current implementation strategies.\nResidential Speed Limit Review – learn about the challenges experienced by transportation professionals when they dare to ask vehicles to reduce speeds to improve the safety of other street users.\nTransit items – looking at relationships between transit ridership and reliability measures. Also reviewing the various components of the City of Saskatoon’s pilot Bus Rapid Transit station.\n\nWhat:              ITE-SK Fall Session & AGM\nWhen:            Wednesday\, October 18 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm\nWhere:           Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon East – University\, 1838 College Drive\, Bldg #2\, Saskatoon\, SK \nLunch and snacks will be provided.
