DESCRIPTION:ITE Manitoba invites you to attend the upcoming free 2-hour leisurely networking bike tour on Wednesday\, August 12\, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Limited tickets are available\, and tickets should be purchased in-advance. \nThe bike tour will be led by Chris Baker\, Active Transportation Project Manager\, and Erik Dickson\, Livable Streets Specialist\, from the City of Winnipeg. The tour will begin and end at the Forks and will feature Winnipeg’s newest protected bike lanes\, neighbourhood greenways\, and seasonal bike routes. \nFollowing the tour\, we invite and encourage participants to continue to network at The Forks. One free drink at The Forks is included with your ticket. \nWhen: Wednesday\, August 12\, 2026\, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm (CDT) \nWhere: The bike tour will begin and end at the Mahatma Gandhi statute outside the Canadian Museum for Human Rights at The Forks. \nCost: Free \n\nParticipants must: \n\n\nBYOBike (rental / loaner bicycles will not be provided this year);\nWear a helmet during the tour (please remember to bring one!); and\nSign and provide the waiver (either bring it with you to the event or send via email to manitoba@itecanada.org).\n\nPlease note the deadline to register is 5:00 pm CDT on Tuesday\, August 11\, or when tickets sell out.
