SUMMARY:ITE Toronto: TTC Queen’s Quay East Bus Lane Technical Tour and Social
DESCRIPTION:Come tour the Queen’s Quay East bus lanes with ITE Toronto and the TTC project team! Join the project manager and technical lead from the TTC on a TTC Charter Bus to hear about the planning\, design\, implementation\, and impact of the bus lanes on Queen’s Quay East. After the tour\, join us for a social at GLB Brewpub. \nThe tour will start at Castle Frank Station at 1:00 pm with an intro talk about the bus lanes until 1:15 pm after which the bus will leave the station and head towards the Bus Lanes. You must be on the bus by 1:15 to experience the full tour. The bus will then proceed on the bus lanes to Front Street for a layover Q&A. The bus will go eastbound to Jarvis and Queen’s Quay East where it will stop to let attendees out to the social for 2:30 pm. If you are not able to attend the social\, the bus will return to Castle Frank Station. \nYou can earn 1.0 PDH credits for your participation in this event. \nDate: Tuesday\, October 20\, 2026\nTime: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM\nLocation: Castle Frank Station\, 600 Bloor Street East \nTour Guides and Speakers \n Dominic Ho has over a decade of experience of planning public transportation\, having worked at York Region Transit\, MiWay\, and the TTC. During his time with the TTC\, Dominic has worked on multiple Annual Network Plans delivering transit improvements to transit customers in Toronto\, planned and delivered bus lanes on Queens Quay East and the Scarborough Busway\, and represents the TTC’s interests on major projects like the Provincial Subway Program and the City’s Waterfront East and Scarborough East Rapid Transit lines. \n \nJordan Hart-Bishop is a Senior Transportation Engineer with the TTC in Operations Planning. His background includes work within the public\, private\, and academic sectors. Jordan has been involved with the design and implementation of several bus lane projects with the TTC including the Queen’s Quay Bus Lanes\, and the Scarborough Busway. \n  \nRegistration: Registration will close on Monday\, October 19\, 2026 at 12 PM ET (noon). \nWaiver and Release of Liability Required: Please review the event waiver and release prior to completing your registration.
