The Future Transportation Leaders Fund (the Fund) is seeking individuals to serve a three-year term on its Board of Directors from January 1, 2027 to December 1, 2029. The Fund is a registered charitable foundation created to support Canada’s next generation of transportation industry leaders. As the independent fundraising partner for ITE Canada District (ITE Canada), the Fund was established to offer ITE members in Canada a mechanism to give back to the organization and support students and emerging professionals. Directors are responsible for overseeing the activities of the foundation and for making decisions regarding those activities, in alignment with the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Interested candidates should send their current résumé along with a one-page letter outlining their interest in the position and why they are suitable for the role to futureleadersfund@itecanada.org. The Fund Board of Directors will determine eligibility and suitability for the position through an assessment of the candidate’s education, work experience, and letter submission, and may conduct interviews as part of this process.
