Vancouver-Island-Canada2The Vancouver Island Section includes Vancouver Island, and the islands between Vancouver Island and the Mainland.

Section programs include technical and related presentations at lunch or dinner meetings, professional development seminars, other local meetings, and forums for the exchange of opinion, ideas, techniques, and research.
The Vancouver Island Section also holds occasional meetings in Nanaimo and participates in an annual “Quad Conference” with the Greater Vancouver, Washington State and Oregon Sections.

Participants at our meetings include Municipal, Regional District, and Provincial Government Planning and Engineering staff, Consultants, Architects, BC Transit and BC Ferries staff, equipment suppliers, and others interested or concerned about our field of interest. We encourage joint meetings with other organizations such as the Engineering Institute of Canada, Engineers and Geophysicists of BC, and the Canadian Institute of Planners.
