Requirements include registration as an Applied Science Technologist with ASTTBC or a professional designation with APEGBC; a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology; and eight years of progressive experience in transportation engineering, including supervisory experience. Additional qualifications such as PMP certification or training in asset management, traffic signal timing, multi-modal transportation design, and proficiency with engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, GIS, Synchro) are considered assets. A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (35 hours per week).

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $54.44 per hour and an excellent benefits package.  Please apply by 11:45 p.m. on August 24, 2025, quoting competition 25210.
