As the Supervisor of Traffic Systems Management in Transportation Services, you will be leading a team that will continue to be highly influential in the way people travel around the Region. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the technological side of Transportation infrastructure, and set the stage for how the Region uses technology to support the human elements of mobility.
In this role, you are part of the Management Team and work closely with a range of colleagues in Transportation and in many other departments, providing recommendations and insights from emerging research, data collection and trends. Your role as the leader of the design and operation of the Region’s traffic signals means that you will be at the forefront of an important component of our community space.

The Role
Supervises the planning and operation of computer-based traffic control systems. Administers data communication networks and provides input into software development. Supervises engineering services relating to signal operation and traffic signal design.
