The Director of Transportation and Field Services reports to the Commissioner, Works. The Director is responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of service delivery (technical and administrative) for the transportation functions delivered by the Branch. Leadership responsibilities will include but not limited to transportation infrastructure planning, planning and design for rapid transit, active transportation and roadway structures, traffic engineering and operations, maintenance operations, and fleet services management. As a member of the Region’s Senior Leadership Team, the Director will collaborate with other Works Branches and Regional departments, contributing to projects and initiatives in cross-functional areas.
