ITE Manitoba

ITE—A Community of Transportation Professionals (ITE) works to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users, helping to build smart and livable communities.

Founded in 1930, ITE is a volunteer-driven association of more than 18,000 engineers, planners, consultants, educators, researchers, technologists, and students working in more than 78 countries.

ITE Manitoba Section is affiliated with the ITE Canada District. We provide opportunities for professional development and community building at the regional and local levels.

The Manitoba Section holds monthly lunch meetings from September to June each year for transportation professionals in the province. Presentations are given by guest speakers on a variety of transportation related topics that are of interest to transportation professionals. These meetings provide an ideal opportunity to meet with fellow members of the profession and discuss current issues that are impacting transportation engineering in Manitoba and across Canada. Each luncheon is sponsored by a local company/organization involved with ITE.
