ITE Canada’s Training Committee is pleased to present a course on Engaging with Confidence: Essential Prep and Strategies for Successful Engagement.
This training introduces practical approaches for preparing and delivering community meetings, tailored for transportation professionals across all levels and sectors. Participants will learn how to prepare effectively, communicate transportation related materials, and apply core principles to public engagement. While community engagement can feel daunting, learning through guided discussions, structured exercises, and collaborative problem solving, attendees will develop practical skills for navigating challenging conversations with the public.
This session, facilitated by Bousfields, will focus on understanding the community consultation process, preparing for engagement, approaching public speaking with confidence, and structuring clear and effective responses to questions. Participants will also explore key strategies for addressing tough questions, review transportation focused case studies, and take part in group exercises that build shared learning and confidence in public facing situations.
If you’re interested in developing strategies for confident engagement, don’t miss this professional development opportunity.
