ITE Canada is pleased to announce that Julia Salvini has been acclaimed as International District Director beginning January 1, 2025 for a three-year term. In this position, she will sit on the ITE International Board of Direction (IBOD) as well as the ITE Canada Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Julia brings decades of experience in the transportation industry and many years of service with ITE to this position. She sat on the ITE Canada Executive Committee from 2015 to 2023, serving in all positions and guiding the organization with steadfast leadership as President during the height of the pandemic. She also served on the ITE Toronto Section Executive as well as numerous ITE technical and program councils and committees. Julia is the President of Salvini Consulting, a member of the Southwestern Ontario Section, and is part of the 2024 Class of LeadershipITE.
A Call for Nominations for this position was open from January 8 to February 23, 2024. With only one candidate, the position has been acclaimed and no election will be held.
