ITE—A Community of Transportation Professionals (ITE) works to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users, helping to build smart and livable communities.
Founded in 1930, ITE is a volunteer-driven association of more than 18,000 engineers, planners, consultants, educators, researchers, technologists, and students working in more than 78 countries.
ITE Western University Student Chapter is a student community who are interested in exploring or aspiring to be future transportation professionals. We are affiliated with the ITE Southwestern Ontario Section and ITE Canada District. We provide opportunities for learning and networking, including connection to the local, regional, national, and international community of transportation professionals.
As of ITE’s newest student chapters, our goal is to create a strong connection between students and the transportation and traffic engineering profession. We provide students with opportunities to network with professionals, attend conferences and workshops, and participate in projects that incorporate practical learning.
