This package contains most of the presentations and papers from the CITE 2018 Conference...The Northern Alberta Section of ITE hosted a successful 2018 CITE Conference and Annual Meeting.
The technical program reflected how transportation systems are developing towards a future of rapid technological advancement and a changing climate. Edmonton is home to Canada’s first connected vehicle test bed and a downtown cycle track network, which opened in summer 2017. These, as well as the newly opened Walterdale Bridge, Valley Line LRT Construction, and Mechanized River Valley Access, provided engaging technical tours as part of the conference.
CITE was delighted to partner with the Conference Board of Canada to host Automated Vehicles 2018: Planning for Urban and Rural Transitions. This conference was held immediately following CITE 2018 and provided an opportunity for delegates to learn more about this emerging field.
