ITE Atlantic Canada Section

ITE—A Community of Transportation Professionals (ITE) works to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users, helping to build smart and livable communities.

Founded in 1930, ITE is a volunteer-driven association of more than 18,000 engineers, planners, consultants, educators, researchers, technologists, and students working in more than 78 countries.

ITE Atlantic Canada Section (ITE Atlantic) is affiliated with the ITE Canada District. We provide opportunities for professional development and community building across the Atlantic provinces. Our membership reaches to all levels of government, educational institutions, and the consulting community.

The fall meeting and AGM held in Fredericton (NB) is rich in history and memorable times. The spring meeting which in past would migrate between Charlottetown (PEI) and Halifax (NS) has remained in Halifax as of late. Both members and non-members continually deliver quality technical presentations, and the Executive have been arranging advanced training in specialty areas of transportation engineering and planning.
