2020 Year-in-review and 2021 Transportation Innovations and Opportunities
Troy McLeod is a professional engineer and currently the Director of Roads for the City of Calgary. Troy began his career with the City of Calgary in 1995 after graduating from the University of Calgary as a Civil Engineer. Over the years, he has worked in several areas within the City of Calgary Transportation Department including traffic operations, traffic signals, transportation planning, and transportation data. In 2007, he became Manager of the Traffic for the City of Calgary until moving to Calgary Parking Authority as General Manager in May 2011. In August 2014, Troy began serving as Director of Roads. Prior to joining The City, Troy worked for Alberta Transportation in the Southern Alberta Region.
Troy has published several papers with ITE, CITE, and TAC and serves on the Chief Engineer’s Council with TAC and a member of TAC for over 18 years.
