On October 4, 2023, the Quebec student chapter held the first event which involves testing the simulator and presenting executive team’ projects. It was emphasized to proactively reach out to students connected to transportation, igniting their curiosity about Transportation Engineering as an academic discipline.
We set up the lab into different sections, including testing driving simulator, presentation of traffic simulation and application, highway design and pavement, connected technology and autonomous vehicles, Montreal metro network. Enthusiastic conversations flowed as participants engaged with our dedicated members, sharing their perspectives on the fascinating world of transportation. Participants were encouraged to follow the ITE social media and join the ITE student chapter. This event not only showcased the potential within the field but also laid the foundation for collaborative exploration and innovation in the days to come.
