Technical Liaison Committee (TLC)

The Technical Liaison Committee (TLC) acts as the technical pulse of ITE Canada District. The TLC’s mandate is to identify and ensure our community is informed of current trends and emerging topics relating to transportation in a Canadian context and provide meaningful opportunities for members to contribute to technical councils, committees, projects, and initiatives.

Aligned with the Committee’s Terms of Reference, the TLC’s mandate is fulfilled by:

overseeing the engagement, coordination, and active participation of subject matter Appointees on ITE International and Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) committees and councils as well as technical project leads
serving as a key interface between ITE Canada District, ITE International, TAC, and other transportation organizations including Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals (CARSP) and Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA)
providing recommendations to the ITE Canada District Executive Committee on other technical opportunities such as awards and funding allocations.
